Inter-state criminal held

An alleged inter-state criminal, who carried a cash reward of Rs 50,000, has been arrested by the special cell, police said today.
Narshi (31), a resident of Panipat in Haryana, was arrested from Narela area here on Monday afternoon after police received a tip off about him.
"One of the close aides of Narshi, Mahesh alias Maheshi was arrested by the police in November. During interrogation, Mahesh gave certain leads about the probable hideouts of Narshi in Delhi, Sonipat and Rohtak.
The same were further developed and various raids were conducted," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
On Monday, a specific information was received that Narshi would come to Raja Harish Chandra Hospital in Narela area to meet a contact, he said.
Accordingly a raid was conducted and Narshi was arrested from there. He was wanted in two murder cases of Delhi and one of Kundli, Sonipat and was also declared a 'Proclaimed Offender' by a court. He is also the manager of the Surender Khatri-Ashwani Khatri gang, police said.
