Interactive session with IAF officials

A few officials of Air Force Administrative College, today interacted with the students of Camford International School here.
The main aim of the session was to have a free and frank discussion with the educational officers for resolving the doubts regarding the career and future prospects in Indian Air Force and the Group Captain S A Srivalsan pointed out that there was an ocean of opportunities available for girls too in the force.
Squadron Leader Sangita Paulraj shared her experience of adventure like sky diving and Scuba diving and spoke about various career avenues available for undergraduate students.
Squadron Leader Shahul Hameed and Squadron Leader Shyam Sundar emphasized the importance of clearing the National Defence Academy test, followed by the interview by Staff Selection Board (SSB).
They also suggested that students can enroll into the wing shortly after their grade 12 examinations, provided they had Physics and Mathematics as the core subject and students interested are also allowed to enroll even after their graduation endowed with 60 per cent marks, they said.
The programme was presided over by Camford Chairman Arul Ramesh, in the presence of Beena, Principal, Air Force School.
