The decision was taken in meeting here attended by senior police and Vigilance Bureau officers, including Vigilance Bureau DGP-cum-Chief Director Suresh Arora, a police spokesman said today.
In the meeting, the officials decided that the registration of any enquiry on the formal complaints and vigilance enquires will be centralised and registered only after soliciting orders of the Chief Director Vigilance Bureau (CDVB).
The enquires will be closed or any other further action will be initiated only after soliciting the orders of the CDVB.
The officers were also directed to take prior permission of the competent authorities at the Vigilance Bureau before laying trap on any public servant.
