Bringing forth the commonalities among religions, the representatives of Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, and Christianity spoke on the need for peace in the society and appreciated the contribution of the community to society.
The final day began with the recitation of the Holy Quran chaired by Shareef Ahmad Odah followed by a discourse by Malauana Mohammad Ismaeel Tahir on importance of spending in charity for the cause of Allah.
Addressed the meeting from London via satellite, the spiritual head of the Community Hazra Nirza Masroor Ahmad said the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is a dynamic community which promotes peace and is spread over more than 200 countries.
Many notable scholars and political leaders, including head of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee, Amritsar, Avtar Singh Makkar, state Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa, and former ministers, attended the progamme.
Surjeet Kumar Gyani, Minister of Health, Punjab, praised Ahmadiyya Community's efforts for world peace and brotherhood.
Bajwa said the message of peace of this community was worthy of appreciation and regard.
