Police today said that around 3.5-kg heroin, worth Rs 12 crore on the international market, has been seized from the trio, one of whom supplied heroin in East Delhi's Trilokpuri area.
Besides the contraband, six mobile handsets and nine SIM cards have also been recovered from the three accused, identified as Chander Shekhar, a resident of Trilokpuri (32), Dharam Raj alias Dharma (23) of Aman Vihar, and Javed Khan from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
"We came to know that Shekhar... Used to sell heroin in Trilokpuri. He used to get the supply of heroin from Khan through his carrier Raj," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
On Monday, following a tip-off, a trap was laid near an ATM in Block No.31 of Trilokpuri.

"As Raj was handing over a bag containing 1.5-kg heroin to Shekhar, the duo was nabbed. During interrogation, they revealed that they were part of a big inter-state narcotics syndicate. On the instance of Shekhar, 1-kg heroin was recovered from his house in Trilokpuri," said Yadav.
Shekhar is involved in two criminal cases under Excise Act while Raj was named in several cases under it. The duo was produced before court and remanded in two days' police custody.
They disclosed that Khan has many hideouts in Bareilly and Rampur of UP and Rudrapur of Uttarakhand, following which teams were sent to Rampur and Rudrapur to nab him.
"Yesterday, Khan was arrested from Rudrapur. A raid was conducted at his rented flat and 850-gm heroin recovered from there. During interrogation, Khan disclosed that he used to get heroin from one Anish, a resident of Manipur," said Yadav.
