Upcoming sc-fi film 'Interstellar' will be director Christopher Nolan's longest movie to date.
The official runtime of the film has been revealed at 2 hours and 49 minutes, reported Digital Spy.
The 169-minute release is five minutes longer than 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
Nolan will be filming key sequences with IMAX cameras.
The writer-director has described the movie as "a mirror image" of his 2010 film 'Inception'.
Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Matt Damon and Michael Caine star in the film, which is based on scientific theories from physicist Kip Thorne and a screenplay written by Nolan and his brother Jonathan Nolan.
