West threatened legal action over the publication of the video which was unlawfully taken from his computer, reported Contactmusic.
Speaking for the first time about the leaked tapes, West said he was not concerned about his fans watching it.
"For the most part, I'd rather people have seen one of those home videos than some of the paparazzi photos that get published. At least I recorded myself. That tape couldn't have hurt me in any way if it came out - it could only have helped. Now, I just do exactly what I want, whenever I want, how the I want," said West.
