The festival also announced that "Avengers" star Jeremy Renner will be the talent ambassador this year along with Donnie Yen, Korean star D O, and Miriam Yeung.
"Paddington 2" will be the opening film at the festival, which will screen over 40 movies in various categories including the Competition section, Gala, Flying Daggers, Best of Fest Panorama, Crossfire, Special Presentation and more, across seven days.
The line-up for the 'Special Presentation' category includes Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" and George Clooney's "Suburbicon".
The festival jury will be headed by French director Laurent Cantet along with actor Joan Chen, Austrian director Jessica Hausner, author Lawrence Osborne and director Royston Tan.
