"Laws are already in place and the investigations, whatever under the ministry, will be done in a transparent fashion with no biases and full sincerity," Pilot told PTI hours after being shown as Minister Of State (Independent charge) for Corporate Affairs.
He said the ministry will be open to discussions with the corporate world, individuals and all other stakeholders. "We will find the best way in moving ahead," Pilot said.
The MCA acts as the nodal ministry for bodies like Registrars of Companies, Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) and Competition Commission of India (CCI), which are mandate to regulate entire corporate sectors.
The ministry recently launched probe to trace the source of funding for Maharashtra-based Purti Power and Sugar Ltd (PPSL), run by BJP President Nitin Gadkari's firm.
"As a minister, my aim would be to have complete transparency in functioning. This ministry is an enabling department," the young Congress minister said.
Some of the major issues before the ministry includes introduction of new Companies bill and changes in Competition Act.
Pilot represents Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency of Rajasthan.
