The Haryana's Sports and Youth Affairs Minister said that the department is prepared to host the forthcoming Games.
Vij was replying to a question raised during the ongoing budget session of Haryana Vidha Sabha.
Originally scheduled to be held in Goa, Vij said the IOA offered it to Haryana as "the hosting of these Games in Goa became doubtful due to some reasons".
In the "interest" of the state, Vij appealed to the "so called" Olympic Association of Haryana to do away with their groupism and get their elections conducted as per the rules of IOA.
