The movie is the second collaboration between Irrfan and Anup after "Qissa". It also stars veteran actress Waheeda Rehman and Tillotama Shome.
Irrfan and Golshifteh will attend the premiere, reported Variety.
This year's opening night film is Noemie Lvovsky's dark drama "Tomorrow and Thereafter", starring Mathieu Amalric. And the festival will close with a rock tribute film from Kevin Merz titled, "Gotthard - One Life, One Soul."
Other films include the critically lauded "The Big Sick", starring Kumail Nanjiani and Zoe Kazan; "Atomic Blonde" with Charlize Theron and James McAvoy; "Good Time", starring Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Jason Leigh; and "What Happened to Monday?", starring Glenn Close, Noomi Rapace and Willem Dafoe.
A total of 18 films will compete for this year's Golden Leopard.
The festival runs from August 2-12.
