Irrigation department staffer shot dead in UP

A 48-year-old staffer of the irrigation department was shot dead by unidentified persons in Rani ka Sarai area, police said today.
Ceddi Ram, who was posted as a 'mate' in irrigation department, was shot dead by unidentified perosns while he was returning home last night, ASP Vinod Kumar said.
He said that the body has been sent for post-motem.
