"JDS which has sewed an unholy alliance with BJP for Lok Sabha bye elections in the state should come clear on whether they would support Modi's candidature as Prime Minister in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections," Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president G Parameshwara told reporters here.
Parameshwara said the JDS-BJP alliance would not affect prospects of Congress in the bypolls as it had won 122 seats in the recently concluded Assembly elections, which is still fresh in voters' mind.
Krishna said he wasn't surprised over the alliance between JDS and BJP since the former is known for opportunistic politics.
"The alliance will not be a threat to Congress," he added.
