Isolated rain in Telangana

Rains occurred at isolated places in Telangana as the southwest monsoon weakened in the state during the last 24 hours, Met department said today.
Wanaparthy near Mahabubnagar and other places in the state received one cm of rainfall each, the IMD (India Meteorological Department) said in its daily weather report of Telangana.
"During the last 24 hours, southwest monsoon has been weak over Telangana. Isolated rain occurred over Telangana," it said.
Several places in the state received heavy rainfall earlier this week, resulting in inundation of low-lying areas, including some in Hyderabad.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has taken up road repair works in the city.
