HVPNL has awarded Isolux Corsan three transmission line projects at several locations in the state, the company said in a statement.
"The first project of construction of 70 km of 220 kV transmission lines in Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karnal, has a budget of 5.5 million euros and will have an execution period of 18 months," Isolux Corsan said.
The second project pertains to execution of 150 km of 220 kV/66 kV transmission lines with a total budget of 11.4 million euros and is to be executed in 18 months, it said.
The proposed construction of these transmission lines will have a positive impact on Haryana as it will improve electricity supply in the area, the company said.

The company is already carrying out the construction of 3,400 km of transmission lines, 33 sub-stations in the states of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
It is also executing upgradation of 400 km of highways comprising five stretches in Assam, Rajasthan, Odisha and Karnataka for a total amount of 350 million euros.
