Israel fighter jet pilot dies in landing accident

An Israeli fighter jet pilot died and another member of the armed forces was injured in a crash landing at the Ramon airbase, the military said today.
Both ejected from the F-16 plane, it said in a statement, without adding if the aircraft was returning from a mission or taking part in training.
