The Israeli, identified as one Orenlevy, was apprehended by CISF personnel after he gained entry into the airport in order to see off his father.
"The Israeli national gained entry into the check-in area on the strength of a printout of his already cancelled ticket to Amman dated August 31 with an intention to see off his father travelling by the said flight," the sources said.
The airline apprised that the passenger was not having any booking on that day and hence he was apprehended, they said.
The Israeli was later handed over to Delhi Police which arrested him, they said.
