They interacted with the officials of the state government on various areas of interests that Andhra Pradesh and Israel can collaborate on.
AP Agriculture Minister Kanna Laxminarayana requested Israel Government to include Andhra Pradesh as one of the states from India to be part of the Israel Action Plan. He also explained about the "rich experience" he had during his visit to 'Agritech' event held in Israel.
The minister participated in a meeting held at the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) and the Indo-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Yahel Vilan said he and other members of the delegation would initiate steps to include AP in the action Plan while recalling the rich and timeless values that both India and Israel share from time immemorial.
The Israeli envoy also spoke on the common interests and challenges the countries share such as advancements in agriculture and the constant terror threats being experienced by both.
He opined that both the countries have similar security challenges and said the 20 years of mutual friendship between them would further progress in the years to come.
In his remarks, FAPCCI President Devendra Surana said there were several areas in which the countries can cooperate and they have common interests.
