An Israeli drone has crashed in southern Lebanon due to a technical malfunction, the military said today, after Hezbollah media labelled it a "spy" device.
The Israeli military said that the drone crash in an open area last night posed "no risk of leaked information." It provided no further details.
Hezbollah television station Al-Manar reported that the "spy drone" fell between Baraachit and Beit Yahoun in southern Lebanon.
It said that "a second spy plane targeted it with a guided missile, which resulted in it being destroyed."
