Israeli troops shoot dead armed Palestinian in W.Bank: army

Israeli troops shot dead an armed Palestinian who posed an "immediate threat" to them today during an operation to search for weapons in the occupied West Bank, the army said.
The military statement did not say if he opened fire at soldiers and did not report any injured Israelis.
