An Israeli woman was today found creating ruckus in McLeod Ganj here, police said, adding she has been admitted to a district hospital.
"An Israeli national, Racheli Zargari, was found behaving abnormally at McLeod Ganj market. She was taken to Dr RP Medical College, Tanda. We are probing whether she was under the influence of drugs or mentally unsound," SP (Kangra) Santosh Patial said.
Sources said few police personnel were injured while trying to calm down the woman and control the situation.
In another case, a man has been booked for alleged sexual assault on a minor in Kangra district, police said.
Abhishek, a resident of Kuthed, was booked under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act following a complaint of sexual abuse of the minor in Nurpur subdivision of Kangra district yesterday, Patial said.
The accused has been detained and a probe is on in the matter, he added.
