The three-day event, organised by the Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT) Thiruvananthapuram chapter, is envisaged to provide an effective platform for NDE professionals including specialists from industry, research institutions and academia from all over the world to meet and exchange ideas.
Besides Kumar, K Sivan, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre director and M C Dathan, scientific advisor to Kerala Chief Minister will also take part in the event, in which around 1000 delegates are expected to participate, a release said here.
Research papers from industries, R&D establishments and academic institutions will be presented, it said.
The topics, to be presented at the event, includes the current trends and advanced techniques in NDE practices, NDE in medical,aerospace,railways,automobile,defense,information technology,nuclear and so on.

As part of the event, an international exhibition of NDE equipment and systems is also arranged concurrently to provide an exposure to latest developments in the filed of NDE.
With over 60 stalls, the exhibition will see the participation of all leading players from NDE equipment manufacturers to service providers.
