It is a blessing to have Deepika in my life: Vin Diesel

Hollywood star Vin Diesel has showered praise on his "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" co-star Deepika Padukone and said that he is lucky to have someone like her in his life.
Vin, 49, is on his maiden trip to India to promote the action film. The actor said he was waiting for an opportunity to visit the country.
"I was waiting for an opportunity to come to India. It was this queen here, this angel (who made it happen). It is such a blessing that she is in my life. Such a blessing to have someone in my life who is such a beautiful soul," Vin told reporters here.

The actor, who chose an all black jacket, kurta and pants ensemble, then kissed Deepika on the cheeks and left the "Tamasha" star blushing.
When asked if he would like to work with her again, Vin said Deepika is extremely special to him and he would like to see her as the "queen of the world."
"She is very, very special to me. You just have to see my Facebook of last year to realise how special she is to me. There is no one like her. You get to claim her because she is from here. But she is the queen of the world... The whole world will get to claim her."

Deepika, 31, got a little emotional and said she has "lost her voice".

"I can't tell you how happy I am to come here. We have known each other for many years now, so working together was in our destiny. This is very special for me," Deepika said.
"I feel very proud to represent India in the global stage. Female characters in films like these have finally got their due and you will see that once you see the film."
"xXx: Return of Xander Cage" is an American action film directed by D J Caruso. The film releases on January 14.
