Describing the IPL match fixing scandal as shameful, actor Ranbir Kapoor today said that the issue was not about Bollywood despite actor Vindoo Randhawa's arrest in the case.
"It's not about Bollywood, it's about a human being," Kapoor told reporters here when asked about Bollywood's relationship with the scandal.
"It's very shameful that something like this has happened, and because of two or three mischievous people the entire platform of IPL is spoiled," said the actor.
In the city to promote his film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', Kapoor said the IPL was an entertaining platform.
"The entire world loves it, and there are many players who are passionately and seriously playing the sport. Because of such culprits and mischief makers, their names are also tainted," he said.
Three Rajasthan Royals players -- Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan -- are in police custody while actor Vindoo, son of the late Dara Singh, has also been arrested by the Mumbai Police in connection with the case along with several other bookies, many of whom have underworld connection.
