Italian woman in Mathura accuses sadhu of harassing her

An Italian woman, who is an ISKCON follower and had been living here for the past 40 years, has accused a sadhu in her neighbourhood of harassing her and threatening to throw acid on her face, police said today.
In a complaint filed with SSP Manjil Saini, the woman has alleged that the sadhu living in her locality Chaitanya Vihar used to make obscene gestures towards her.
The woman claimed that when she tried to approach the police against him, the sadhu threatened to throw acid on her face.
Confirming the receipt of complaint, Saini said orders has been issued for registration of a case in this regard.

If the complaint is found to be true, strict action will be taken against the accused, he added.
