Delhi government's officials and staff also marked the second International Day of Yoga at the Secretariat here in the evening though Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not join any of the events. Chief Secretary K K Sharma also joined in.
As many as 3,000 students performed yoga led at the stadium for about an hour.
"Two events of yoga were organised by the Delhi government to celebrate the second International Day of Yoga. At the Chhatrasal Stadium, Sisodia also asked students to perform yoga every day," said a senior government official.

large number of school children participated in the International Yoga Day functions held by the three municipal corporations.
About 400 students from the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) primary schools displayed their excellence in more than 25 different asans at Khatu Shyam stadium in Hari Nagar. Besides, schoolchildren, a large number of councillors, officers and employees of the civic body also participated in the event.
"Yoga has given a new identity to the nation at world platform and now world over people understand the importance of Yoga in daily life," said North Delhi mayor Sanjeev Nayyar.
A similar even was organised by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) at Yamuna Sports Complex on the day.
