J&K CM greets people ahead of Mahashivratri

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the Mahashivratri festival, which is celebrated as Hairath in Kashmir Valley.
She hoped that the auspicious day will usher the state in a new era of peace and development and strengthen bonds of brotherhood among people.
Mahashivratri has both religious and cultural importance as the day is celebrated by all people, the Chief Minister said, adding it is celebrated in Kashmir Valley as Hairath by Kashmiri Hindus in amity with the Muslim brothers.
