"Greater synergy among the security agencies is must for achieving desired results," an official handout quoted the DGP saying while chairing a meeting to review law and order situation in South Kashmir.
Safety and security of people is our prime concern and every effort of the anti-national elements to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of state would be neutralized, he said.
The wholehearted cooperation of the people with the forces has helped in maintaining peace and these relations should be strengthened at all levels to foil the ill designs of law breaker, the DGP said.
"While conducting counter insurgency operations, it should be ensured that common people are not harassed at any cost," the DGP said.
