The plan was approved at the District Development Board meeting, chaired by Public Health Engineering Minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din, yesterday, an official spokesman said today.
He said Rs 68.95 crore would be the capital component while Rs 44.27 crore would be the revenue component of the plan.
Addressing the meeting, the minister directed the District Development Commissioner Sarmad Hafeez to speed up the process of filling up of vacant posts in various Departments of the district.
He also directed constitution of a selection board for recruitment to class IV vacancies in the district so that the Departments are able to function smoothly, the spokesman said.
On the issue of pendency of projects for want of forest clearance, the Minister asked the District Development Commissioner to convey the feeling of the board that these cases are cleared at the earliest.
He also directed settlement of all pending land compensation cases at the earliest.

The Minister asked the officers to maintain the timeline of development projects and complete them within the deadline period.
Calling for judicious use of funds available, Mohiuddin said development process in the district needs to be expedited in view of the limited working season.
