J&K Governor to host Rasool-led Team at Raj Bhawan

Congratulating the state cricket team on its historic win over Mumbai in Ranji Trophy, Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra is set to host the team at the Raj Bhawan here.
"I congratulated Parvez Rasool, the captain and all members of his Ranji Trophy team for their historic win over Mumbai, the 40 times Ranji Trophy champions," Vohra said.
The Rasool-led team outplayed Mumbai by four wickets at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday to stun the Ranji giants in the first-ever meeting between the two sides.
Soon after the triumph, state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had wished the team on social media.

"Well done to the J&K cricket team, beat Mumbai at the Wankhede stadium," Omar wrote on twitter.
