J-K govt directs BOSE chairman to report back to parent dept

The Jammu and Kashmir government today directed the chairman of state Board of School Education (BOSE), who was on deputation, to report back to his parent department.
The Cabinet, which met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, ordered to send back Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Chairman, JKBOSE to his parent Department, an official spokesman said here.
Bashir Ahmad, who belongs to the department of the higher education, was on deputation to BOSE.
Secretary, School Education will now hold the post till further orders, the spokesman added.
