"Credibility of the coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to its lowest ebb due to misgovernance," Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and senior leader of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Mohammad Sartaj Madni said while addressing a day-long convention of party workers at Mahore in Reasi district.
The Omar Abdullah-regime has become a non-performing liability because the dispensation has been befooling people through its deceptive tactics, Madni said.
"Legalising corruption and bartering aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are only noticeable achievements of this regime," he alleged, adding there are no takers of the government's hollow slogans.
Pointing towards rampant corruption in the state, the PDP leader said, instead of taking some effective steps to control corruption in the administration, the government has legalised corruption through its actions.
"Institutions meant for curbing corruption have been deliberately rendered defunct by this regime," he said.
While listing the promises made by National Conference during the last Assembly elections, Madni added that the government has reneged on almost all of them.
