The tour was flagged off by Samba District Development Commissioner R K Varma at the district complex, officials said.
The students will visit Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Agra. Among famous places, they will visit Taj Mahal, Mathura, Brindavan, Fatehpur Sikri, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Rajgat, Rose Garden in Chandigarh, McLeod Ganj and Palampur, the officials said.
The District Development Commissioner said that the main objective of this educational tour is to give exposure to the students of historical and educational importance of various monuments, places of scientific, cultural heritage, and religious places.
