 "Jammu and Kashmir govt to look into Kashmiri students' issue raised by Omar Abdullah")
Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday said it would send a minister to every state where Kashmiri students were allegedly facing problems to talk to the governments there so as to infuse confidence among the students.
The issue of some Kashmiri youth facing problems outside the state was raised by Leader of Opposition and National Conference (NC) MLA Omar Abdullah in the Legislative Assembly.
The former Chief Minister said he has been getting phone calls since last night that some Kashmiri youth registered under the Udaan project were facing problems and not getting any help from the local police.
Taking note of the issue, Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh said the government would take appropriate measures wherever necessary to infuse confidence among the Kashmiri youth.
"Students, wherever they are outside the state, I have talked to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and chief ministers of various states about them.
"We have decided to send a minister to all the states to talk to the students and call on either the chief minister or a minister there to infuse confidence among the students," Singh said.
Regarding the incident mentioned by Abdullah, he said the government will immediately look into it and take appropriate measures.

Omar said that these youth were being trained by MBD Group. He handed over names and phone numbers of some of the youths to the Speaker, demanding the government to look into the matter.
