The park is a first-of-its-kind project in the region. It will have a botanical garden, a cactus garden, a cafeteria and other amenities, he said.
Nearly, 34 acres of land has been included in the Eco- Park project coming up at the Kandi belt of Rajouri, district administration officials said.
"The project has been planned under the convergence of local resources and it is expected to be completed by end of this year," the official said.
The police was also deployed in the anti-encroachment drive. The Department of Rural Development has started fencing on the retrieved land.
