"Law Enforcement Directorate has been asked to ensure an intensive checking drive to check adulteration of fertilisers and its distribution in the state," Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir told reporters here.
He warned stringent action against any distributor or dealer guilty of adulterating fertilisers.
The Minister further said that only those fertiliser and pesticide brands be allowed in the state which have been recommended by the Government of India and Sher-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.
