He solicited the co-operation of the people in realising the dream of making the state economically vibrant and prosperous.
Sadhotra was addressing a congregation of Sikhs on the eve of Gurupurb here.
"Unity in diversity is hallmark of Jammu and Kashmir's pluralistic ethos. We eulogized the role of Sikhs community in socio-economic emancipation of the state," he said.
The minister called for collective efforts from all communities for steering the state to the pinnacles of development, progress, peace and prosperity.
The state consists of three divisions- Jammu, Kashmir Valley and Ladakh.
Referring to the demands put forth by the Sikh Sangat in a resolution, Sadhotra assured that he would take them up with the CM as a representative and advocate of the community.
