Governor Satya Pal Malik Thursday expressed grief over the death of Lance Naik Nasir Ahmed Bhatt, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, in a road accident in Assam.
Bhatt, belonging toJammu and Kashmir LightInfantry regiment, was a resident of Anantnag district, an official spokesman said.
The spokesman said the governor prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in its hour of grief.
