J-K HC issues notices to Farooq, others over JKCA panel

Jammu and Kashmir High Court has issued notices to J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) President Farooq Abdullah and Chairman Aslam Goni for illegal constitution of provincial level committees in the state.
This directions were passed by Justice Tashi Rabstan of J-K High Court Jammu wing yesterday on an application filed by Ravinder Singh seeking stay of JKCA President Dr Adullah whereby contrary to the constitution of JKCA, two provincial level committees were constituted illegal and arbitrarily.
Justice Rabstan after hearing Advocate S S Ahmed for the petitioner, yesterday issued the notice returnable within three weeks and granted last opportunity to file a reply.
Another petition was filed by Avtar Krishan Tickoo and others of Kashmir Cricket Club (KCC) seeking direction to CBI for registration of FIR and probe into multi-crore financial fraud and criminal misappropriation with respect to the funds and assets of the JKCA.
Justice Tashi Rabstan also granted three weeks time to the counsel for reply and directed to list the case immediately after three weeks.
