"I have already sanctioned new i-Pads for the legislators and you will get them soon," Minister for Finance Haseeb Drabu told Legislative Council today.
The demand for providing i-Pads to legislators was made by National Conference legislator Qaiser Jamshed Lone during the discussion on budget in the on going assembly session.
The legislators, cutting across the party lines, in both the Houses had supported Lone's demand. They also demanded increase in their salaries and constituency development fund (CDF).
Drabu said the government was contemplating an increase in the salary of the legislators but voiced against any increase in the CDF.
