J-K: Three absconding criminals arrested

Three persons wanted in an attempt to murder case were arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Udhampur district of the state.
The accused, who had been absconding, were arrested in the raids conducted last night in Basantgarh belt of the district, police said.
Besides attempt to murder, the arrested persons -- Gulam Nabi Seikh, Jameel Ahmed and Osama -- are also accused in a 2009 case of carrying illegal weapons.
The three were later produced before the court which sent them to custody, police said.
