"In the preceding week, the traffic police has seized 101 vehicles, including 60 Matadors, besides a number of buses, tractor-trolleys and motorcycles for violation of Motor VehicleAct", a senior police officer said.
A total of 4,513 vehicles were 'challaned' and their drivers have been booked for contravening traffic rules, he said.
The Jammu traffic police has asked all stakeholders to strictly adhere to traffic rules and sought their cooperation in smooth regulation of traffic in the city.
