''The cabinet has recommended the governor to convene the house on July 18,'' Soren told his first press conference after taking over as chief minister earlier in the day.
He, however, evaded a question by reporters whether his government would take a floor test on the same day.
The chief secretary R S Sharma had, however, told newsmen earlier that the business of the house would be vote of confidence.
Soren was sworn in as the ninth chief minister of the tribal state in the morning after being invited by the governor late last night following the official communication about the presidential assent on the cabinet recommendation for revocation of central rule.
