The pilgrimage centre, Deoghar, attracts not only from within the country, but also is famous internationally and 'kawanwarias' (devotees) walk 105 km from Sultanganj to Baidhyanath Dham (Deoghar), which is world's longest spiritual travel, an official release said.
Earlier in the day, Das paid obeisance at the Baijnath temple and prayed for prosperity and peace.
State Urban Development minister C P Singh, Labour minister Raj Paliwar and Agriculture minister Randhir Singh were present on the occasion.
