"I appeal to the Central Coalfields Limited, Damodar Valley Corporation and others to set up more Industrial Training Institutes in the state to train the youth and the government will support them as skill development is one of its priorities," Das said here.
Greeting everyone on National Youth Day at a workshop organised by Jharkhand Skill Development Mission (JSDM), the chief minister directed government officials to approach both public and private sectors for involving them in the mission.
Asking to make "squads of skilled hands," Das said the Tata group has agreed to open its branch of Tata Consultancy Service in Jharkhand.
Urging the officials to come up with a blueprint covering Dalits and other people, he said JSDM would also help in rooting out extremism.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's slogan - "sab ka saath, sab ka vikas (development for all)," Das said, "Today is the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The day inspires, encourages, and motivates to extract power from the youth."
