J'khand fashion festival to be inaugurated on May 25

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das will inaugurate the Jharkhand Fashion Festival on May 25, which will provide a platform to Tasar and local producers.
Industry Director K Ravikumar said JHARCRAFT and the state government are jointly organising the May 25 to 29 festival at Hotel BNR Chanakya here.
"The Jharkhand Fashion Festival will just not be a parade, but the objective of the programme is local Tasar products, fashion designers and providing an international level platform for the people connected with the programme directly and indirectly," Industry Director Ravikumar told reporters here.
In the first stage, 80 products will be made available for the people and the state government's effort is to give an expansive market to JHARCRAFT and Tasar products, he said.

The famous Maluti temple themed clothes will also be launched during the festival, he said.
Reena Dhaka, Shruti, Ambika Jain, Divya Kapoor and other fashion designers will take part in the festival, Ravikumar said.
