Jabbar Patel to get 'Vishnudas Bhave Award'

Eminent theatre and film director Dr Jabbar Patel will be honoured with the prestigious 'Vishnudas Bhave Award' on November 5 for his contribution to Marathi theatre.
The announcement was made by Dr Sharad Karale, president of Akhil Bharatiya Natya Vidya Mandir Samiti here today.
The award had been instituted by Sangli-based Akhil Bharatiya Natya Vidya Mandir in memory of Vishnudas Bhave, known as the pioneer of Marathi drama.
