Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday sought investments from the business community in the US, asserting his state offers political stability, robust infrastructure and transparency in policy implementation and governance.

Reddy is in the US on his maiden visit after winning the recent state elections.

"Andhra Pradesh is poised to catalyze investments, capital and partnerships owing to robust infrastructure for connectivity, enabling policies, integration with global value chains, shifting demographic dividend and a ready work force," Reddy said, in his address to the business community here.

Reddy addressed a gathering of business community representatives at a meeting organised by the US India Business Council in association with the think-tank Atlantic Council.

Speaking to the investors, Reddy laid emphasis on delivery of corruption-free governance, transparency in procurement, contract managements and providing investor-friendly experience through one-stop hand-holding of investors.

Reddy said his government's renewed focus on the economy includes raising productivity, bringing value addition and innovation in the agriculture sector.
