"They (Jagdale and Shirke) have informed that they are not coming back," joint secretary Anurag Thakur told PTI today.
With Jagdale and Shirke's refusal to come back, it will be a blow for Jagmohan Dalmiya led working group to function smoothly.
As of now Thakur will be the acting secretary of the BCCI.
"I will be carrying out the function of BCCI secretary till the time we convene a Special General Body Meeting. In order to elect or select a new secretary and treasurer, we need to hold a Special General Body meeting," Thakur explained.

Treasurer Shirke and secretary Jagdale had resigned on Friday in protest in the manner BCCI, under the stewardship of N Srinivasan, functioned post the spot-fixing scandal and the arrest of three cricketers and president's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan.
At the meeting yesterday, Srinivasan apparently refused to accept the resignation of the duo and they were given 24 hours to reconsider their stand.
As they had maintained since yesterday, the duo stood by their decision of not returning to the Board.
