Jaggery prices end steady on thin trading

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ended on a steady note in the national capital today with prices, after hovering both ways, settled at previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also witnessed last levels on little doing.
Marketmen said scattered buying and selling against restricted supply kept prices unaltered.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,700-2,800, pedi 2,800-2,900, dhayya 2,900-3,000 and shakkar 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,300-2,350, chakku 2,400-2,750, khurpa 2,500-2,550 and Ladoo 2,550-2,650.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,400-2,450 and dhayya 2,450-2,500.
